The Post With More Redactions Than A FOIA’d Police Report 😬

This lil passion project has crossed more than 2k different eyes in just over a week. Found out there is a stats page, amongst other features, that come with a blog…

I was confused on Thursday when I randomly started getting messages requesting a password for my new post

Teehee..

First thought: Mady’s tragically beautiful story is getting the attention it deserves! Crazy to think it could’ve gone unheard.

Second Thought: how many people read my deep dark thoughts? 😳

Gotta say… I’m floored & humbled that 32 people were intrigued enough to reach out.

The protected post in question

Truth is, I didn’t mean to give a teaser to my post 🤣 I’m technologically challenged and clicked the wrong button. Did something about this title or that featured message grab your attention?

I get the need for scandal. Compared to a beverage, the contents of that post are a piping hot cup of tea.

Living through it felt like riding a rollercoaster through a twisted, flawed, mind-boggling hell. My mouth is scalded from drinking the tea for nine years.

The ride isn’t over for those hurt most by the injustice system.

My burn book has many different chapters given the hunger games that were played at That Elected Official’s office. Sex. Drugs. Lies. Injustice. We’ve barely cracked the cover.

The people have spoken and the people want more tea.

I represent the people… all 32 of you 😚

My passion in life is community.

Your passion as the reader is tea.

How do we embrace the gray to come together……

COMMUNI-tea

Tea in exchange for community?

That’s witty. I’ll keep it.

The way I see it, our relationship is mutually beneficial….

You’ll listen to my heartstrings via other people’s life experiences & trauma; and I’ll sprinkle you with the sugar & spice, not always nice, toxic tea from that past life experience.

My end game is that we unite locally as a communiTEA to spread awareness of unheard stories like Mady’s and so many others.

My HOPE is that we rally together to build a stronger, more compassionate community model to provide our kids with a safer world to bring their babies into.

Spend government money more efficiently.

Maybe even figure out a way to intervene before it’s too late; like it was with our Mady girl.

No ulterior motives or elections to win…. For me at least. I’m not vouching for any wolves in sheep clothing….or Deputy Chief Weasels…. You’ll meet him soon.

There is a gross culture of UNaccountability in the inner circles of dirt of our local government.

I will never use this platform as a means to slam or degrade. I will use it to demand accountability and integrity of the individuals chosen by “we the people” to spend my & your always increasing, hard earned tax dollars.

YOU, Elected Official(s), represent US; not the other way around.

Don’t get it twisted like I did for 9 years 🤡

Spoiler Alert: your interest inspired me to save the piping hot tea for a later date…

Or tomorrow when I’ll be back for a new series Communi-TEA Sundays 😎

A love letter…

Of sorts, from my heart to yours, especially to the people creeping…. I see you too 🤗:

1. Welcome to a peek inside my brain & life; Hope you can feel my crazy big 🩷 too;

2. You are supporting these sadly unheard, incredible individuals by reading & sharing their stories, keep it up! THANK YOU for your continued support Daddy Bird Rising;

3. I’m an open book. What keeps you coming back? Have a question? Have an answer to one of my many questions?! Send a message!Sit back & enjoy the ride, it may get bumpy. Real Life: I’m a 37 year old troublemaker;

4. I expect accountability & honesty out of my people, especially gov employees that are paid by and spend our tax dollars. Roles are now reversed. When Gov is the Problem AND Solution?;

5. I’m passionate about understanding others, not judging them or forcing them to live in the past if they embrace the gray now. If you were scared to ask for the password and wanted to, why? Scared to see your name pop up on this little old blog? If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything;

Advice to my local elected officials & their inner circles of dirt:

Hold yourself accountable before someone else is forced to. Ask the Important Questions. Support the employees you’ve already failed, but are still protecting our communities on the streets & in courtrooms. Carefully Spend those 35 and 20 million dollar budgets. Stop wasting time & money defending lawsuits versus accepting accountability for your actions.

Do better.

We’re watching more closely, it’s our taxpayer money after all.

I tried to give the inner circle(s) ample warning of the injustices I couldn’t unsee via redundant email(s), in person meeting(s), phone call(s), tear(s), menty b(s), text(s)…

2022.. should’ve heard me then 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do you HEAR ME NOW?!

A wise judge told me about ten years ago: “Keep your eyes & ears open; mouth shut.”

I listened to his advice… well… until now…

When the TV show “Scandal” was released in 2012, I was a newly licensed attorney.

Olivia Pope, Scandal’s main character, is a lawyer who owns a crisis management firm in DC.

She’s the former WH Director of Communications, leader of gladiators & champion of the white hats 🤍

Olivia’s paid to be the “fixer” for affluent politicians and for the White House, not that you’ll find her firm’s name on any government expenditures.

She created her own standard of what the “white hat” looked like and wore it beautifully. Olivia’s confident, pragmatic, ruthless, witty, flawed, the perfect anti-hero…

I dreamed of wearing the white hat like Olivia. She had her own view of what justice should look like and followed it.

Thank goodness the lack of integrity, UNaccountability, & gasp moral turpitude Olivia fixes is only for tv ratings….

……………………or is it?

Male prosecutor – “I am a knight for the people. I wear the white hat and you … you are a pain in my ass

Bad Ass Olivia Pope – “My white hat is bigger than your white hat.

Male Prosecutor – “Can you, at least, pretend you aren’t enjoying this?”

The screenshot in protected post shows messages between me (blue) & the commander in charge (gray) of the internal affairs department at Old County’s Sheriff’s Office from 2022.

Old County sent me a message loud & clear that day: I only wore the “white hat of justice” when it fit the inner circle of dirt’s UNaccountability narrative.

If the Chief chose not to investigate an alleged misconduct incident regarding his own admin, from another “white hat of justice”, how could I trust their integrity at all?

My heart sank. My spirit was crushed. Those Olivia Pope white hat dreams started looking more like nightmares.

Like I’ve said before, there is no internal affairs department to hold government admin accountable.

My white hat continues to be firmly planted atop my high blonde ponytail 🤍

A preview of what’s next in Hypothetically Speaking:

I did 30 min of “hard” work one night this week looking at local budgets and campaign expenditures…. Went down a rabbit hole — thank you ADHD. Resurfacing from said hole, I’m scared to see what other carrots have been right under my nose this whole time….

For instance, in which free world is it kosher for an elected official to spend over $5k in campaign expenditures at local drinking establishments in one year?

Hint: Not America. Or is it?

Compassion and injustice make me hungry for carrots.

Thank God I find myself funny
