by Jaclyn HilderbrandHow does the government support & honor our Veterans who physically survived serving our country, but mentally lost their will to survive from the trauma of war? Veterans Day… Mediocre benefits at a lower disability rating than deserved… A lifetime of trauma with minimal resources to cope… Rip roaring addiction… The comfort of the four walls of a jail cell…. MEET 17CFXXX etc 😳 The best friend a blonde prosecutor could ask for. Robin Findlay is an Army combat war HERO. He did two tours in Iraq from ‘04-‘05 and ‘07-‘08. While serving our country, Rob was shot three times, stabbed twice & took shrapnel to his head from an IED that busted his hearing. That God Damn Soldier was useless to the military in a hospital bed. So the doc gave Rob a rotating prescription of opiates… until he returned to civilian life… Daddy Bird was awarded two Purple Hearts & a Bronze Star for Heroism in honor of his actions in combat. His gift from the government? No more painkillers. He was already in full blown addiction and had to get his fix somewhere.
